I’m Zack Montez, a Senior Apparel and Accessories Designer with over two decades of industry experience, driven by my lifelong passion for the outdoors and action sports. My design journey has included roles at industry-leading brands such as Callaway Golf/OGIO, Hurley, 5.11 Tactical, Metal Mulisha, Boot Barn, and BYLT Basics.

 

Currently, as Senior Apparel Designer at BYLT Basics, I help lead the design of innovative men's apparel, bags, and accessories, translating emerging fashion trends into designs that resonate with customers. Previously, at Callaway Golf, I designed premium lifestyle and sport-focused soft goods collections, including products for the U.S. Ski Team.

 

Throughout my career, I've honed expertise in apparel/accessories design, development and trend forecasting, consistently delivering designs that meet both aesthetic and functional demands. Collaboration and innovation have been at the core of my professional approach, ensuring successful product launches and sustained growth for each brand I've represented.
